DESIGN CHALLENGE

A family-owned business for over 75 years needed to rethink it's digital presence. Equipped with modern machines, tools, and technologies to handle both small and large residential and commercial landscaping projects, their website needed to follow suit. In this simple redesign, I updated and refreshed their digital footprint utilizing the principles of clean design, distilling core products and services to a central page, increasing readability and reducing number of clicks for online customers.​​

​Goals

Modernize a family owned and operated company's digital presence by:

 

  • Incorporating contemporary design principles to the existing site structure, format, and layout

  • Increase digital and online engagement; using design to drive customers to call-to-action areas

  • Reduce text and cognitive load by eliminating excess information and visual load

  • Create a timeless design which will last for years to come - one recognizable, sustainable and modern

Purpose

To provide (through design), a new "face" of the company for decades to come - representing to online customers a new generation of product quality and ownership.​
